Media Clerk, · Interact and assist students in selecting books from our collection. · Present an interactive weekly story time session that encourages participation and involvement of all our students. · Collaborate with teachers and provide them with appropriate resources or information literacy support for their lessons. · Coordinate and also played a key role in developing our at home literacy program. Involved in title selection, ordering, and scheduling of this program. · Market and promote profitable book fair three times per year and recruit parent volunteers to help staff this event. · Produce and edit an assortment of programs in our production studio such as morning announcements, weekly award broadcasts, and promotional and instructional tools for our school. · Develop book lists, compare and maintain vendor relationships, and work with the media committee and teachers to order appropriate materials for our collection. · Work with staff in various uses of technology, including digital cameras, audio and video equipment, software packages, and internet use. · Facilitate computer lab sessions using standard and assistive technologies. · Involved in the publication of school newsletter. · Member of Tech Team, Emergency Response Team, Buice Boosters and Media Committee. |
